Manchester Fashion Week provides a platform for northern fashion, but required a structured commercial strategy to attract international sponsors.

The requirement was to build lead generation framework capable of securing partnerships with enterprise-level brands.

Setting up the lead generation system

To secure sponsors effectively, we developed a highly targeted outreach system. Acting as their fractional marketing partner, we identified international brands matching the Ideal Customer Profile and gathered relevant data on the appropriate contacts. We then managed the outbound communication. Every qualified lead was handed over to the internal team with a complete record of the conversation to ensure a seamless transition. We supported this pipeline with weekly check-ins, actively adjusting our outreach approach based on feedback

Focusing on quality, not quantity

Rather than relying on a high-volume approach, the objective was to strictly prioritise quality over quantity. Taking the time to fully understand the event's unique requirements and the exact calibre of sponsor they needed. This highly targeted strategy allowed us to focus our research and outreach efforts specifically on global beverage brands, ensuring that every lead was commercially viable and aligned with the scale of the event.
